Web-Based Wedding Organizer Package Ordering Information System Using the Waterfall Method

The process of ordering wedding organizer packages in many wedding service companies is still conducted conventionally, requiring clients to visit the office in person to obtain information and place orders, while the administrative staff still records orders and payments on paper, making the process prone to recording errors and data loss. This research aims to develop a web-based wedding organizer package ordering information system accessible online by clients, administrators, and managers, built using PHP and MySQL through the waterfall method encompassing stages of problem analysis, system design, coding implementation, system testing, and maintenance. The developed system provides package, vendor, and venue management features for administrators; online package ordering, event date selection, payment proof upload, and order status tracking for clients; and order and payment report access for managers. Black-box testing across 18 test scenarios covering all major features yielded a 100% success rate with zero functional failures. The system successfully replaced paper-based manual procedures and reduced the average ordering process from two to three days to less than one business day. This study contributes to the operational efficiency of wedding organizer businesses through integrated web-based ordering and transaction management automation.
