  • Review Status · Authors can check manuscript status directly from their JTDS dashboard. Communication with the editor is done via the Discussions menu in the manuscript workflow, not via email.
  • Publication Ethics · Reports of suspected ethical violations, plagiarism, data fabrication, or conflicts of interest may be sent with subject [ETHICS] — Brief Description. See Publication Ethics.
  • Collaboration & Partnership · Proposals for institutional collaboration, special issues, or guest editorship may be sent with subject [COLLAB] — Institution Name.
  • Content Access · All JTDS articles are open access under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license — no special access, subscription, or payment is required.
Expected Response

Response Times

The JTDS editorial team is committed to responding within reasonable timeframes:

  • General inquiries & technical questions · 1–3 working days
  • Pre-screening of new submissions · 7–10 working days after submission
  • First review results · 4–8 weeks (depending on manuscript complexity and reviewer availability)
  • Final editorial decision · 1–3 weeks after the last revision is received
  • Online publication · after copyediting and layout are complete (continuous publishing model since Vol. 4)
